Integrity is always doing the right thing even when no one is looking.
I think at some time in all of our lives we have all compromised this. But by always remembering that we should always choose the higher road we will have a higher regard for ourselves and our self worth is higher because of it. In my own life I always remember I have an audience of one, God, because no matter how hard you try you will never be able to please everyone, believe me I know because I have tried. But I can always do the right thing when given a choice and even if no one here on earth sees, God does and that is enough for me.
